A recent addition to our range is our street light lamp replacement kits. Until now due to the shape of the induction lamps it has been difficult to retrofit induction lamps into the existing standard street light fixtures. We have solved this problem by making a drop in reflector that contains a round type induction lamp. Our smaller footprint ballasts easily fit into the existing control gear space. The reflector is made from a special  polymer alloy that is both tough and heat resistant. The reflector is then either vacuum metalized or chrome plated to give a mirror finish on the reflector surface. The shape of the reflector is so designed as to give maximum efficiency with a minimum of light entrapment.

On the right is an example of a Genlux Apollo street light fixture fitted with our lamp replacement kit.

The same kit fits not only the Apollo but also fits the BEKA Lane and the Magnitech pathfinder street light fixtures.

While fitting the lamp replacement kits the integrity of the fixture is not compromised at all as no holes are drilled into the fixture body. The kit can even be installed from the cherry picker while the fixture is still on the pole.
